Municipalities in Ontario provide a number of services for its residents. In order to pay for these services, municipalities must develop an annual budget to plan for yearly expenses and ensure that the needs of the residents are balanced with the available resources.
The Administration Department helps residents access services, provides information to the public and to Council, prepares Council agendas and minutes, and performs other similar services related to the operation of the Township.
The Township of Dorion's Public Works Department is in charge of roads, cemetery and landfill operations and maintenance. The Department is currently under the supervision of Don Fredrickson - Public Works Supervisor. The Public Works garage is located at 195 Dorion Loop Road.
