Burning Permit

By-law to govern open air burning and the issuance of fire permits

Burning permits are required for all outdoor burning within the Township of Dorion. Burning Permits can be purchased at the Township of Dorion Municipal Office; Dorion Public Library and the Canyon Country Co-Op Store.

Burning Tips

• Do not burn in windy conditions
• Plan to burn in the spring when the ground and vegetation tends to be wet after the winter thaw
