The Township of Dorion has many services including the following:
Whereas Part XI, COMMUNITY SAFETY AND WELL-BING PLANS, Section 143 (1) and (2) of the Police Services Act, 1990, as amended, mandated that every municipality across Ontario shall prepare and adopt a Community Safety and Well-Being Plan. On March 19th, 2024 the Township of Dorion adopted a joint Community Safety and Well-Being Plan for Nipigon, Red Rock, Dorion and Red Rock Indian Band.

Currently the Dorion Museum is closed to the public.
Dorion Community Centre hosts many recreational activities. Information on these and other activities will be posted at the Community Centre, and through flyers.
